Fall Festival of Shakespeare
Fall Festival is an education program where students work with a directing team of teaching artists who lead the teens through a language-based exploration of Shakespeare. At the end of 10 weeks, the groups come together to showcase their work.
What to Expect from the Program:
- Flexible scheduling: teens choose how many days a week they'd like to participate and which days, as well as if they'd like to be face to face or online (all outside of school hours)
- A directing team of teaching artists leads teens through a language-based exploration of Shakespeare.
- All teens (ages 13-19) with an interest in acting or the technical aspects of theater are welcome! Everyone who wishes to participate will be given a part!
- Master classes are taught in Clowning, Stage Combat, Movement, Performance, Technical Theater, and more.
- There are no student fees to participate in this program.

NRHS had their set build this Saturday! This is the day the whole team comes together and builds their set. They also Tie Dye their T-Shirts during this time.
To the right, we see our teens and their contract. These are the rules and guidelines they choose and set for how they want their festival to run. This program runs on teen agency- they make decisions the entire process! |
